From Sydney

People coming by train from Sydney are advised to alight at Bungendore for transport to Braidwood (see below) and transport is also available to return passengers to Bungendore for trains returning to Sydney.

From Canberra

A commercial bus runs daily between Canberra and Braidwood and this will be supplemented by a festival minibus (see below).

Trains

Arriving in Bungendore from Sydney:

  • Thursday at 10.43am and 3.50pm
  • Friday at 10.43am and 9.50pm
  • Saturday at 10.43am and 3.50pm
  • Sunday at 3.50pm and 9.51pm

Departing Bungendore for Sydney

  • Saturday at 7.14am and 5.46pm
  • Sunday at 12.43pm and 5.46pm
  • Monday 7.14am and 12.34pm

Buses

A regular bus run by Murrays bus company departs Jolimont in Canberra for Braidwood each day (Friday to Monday) at 7.30am. It also departs Braidwood each day (Friday to Monday) at 4.30pm travelling via Bungendore for passengers catching trains to Sydney at 5.46pm on Saturday or Sunday.

The festival minibus will depart Jolimont in Canberra at 10am on Friday and Saturday, travelling via Bungendore to connect with the Sydney train arriving at 10.43am and on to Braidwood. On Sunday it will depart Jolimont in Canberra at 10am for a direct trip to Braidwood. (TBC)
